Our new Executive Director/CEO, Michalle Hoehn, has more than three decades of experience working in the nonprofit sector in Nevada and California, serving in leadership roles that have included grant writing, resource development, strategic planning and organizational development. Most of her experience has been in human services, child development and mental health programs, with an emphasis on serving vulnerable children and families.
She understands first-hand the importance of RMHCNN’s mission of keeping families close. When her first child was born premature 40 years ago, she experienced what it was like to have a child in the hospital in a city she didn’t live in
‘I understand what it’s like to have a newborn in the hospital and how it impacts families physically, economically and emotionally,” she says. “That’s why I was so honored to be able to join the RMHCNN team and serve families like mine during some of their most challenging times.”
“Michalle’s personal experience combined with her decades of non-profit experience made her the best person to fill this role,” said RMHCNN Board President Stephanie Arroyo. “We’re excited to have her at the helm of this important agency at a time when it’s growing and becoming even more integral to our community.”
