Sierra Nevada Home Health provides home health services to support people with disabilities, seniors, and those recovering from illness or injury. Their team offers skilled nursing, personal care, and daily living assistance to help clients remain safe and independent in the comfort of their own homes.
Sierra Nevada Home Health is a locally owned and operated provider of home health services, dedicated to delivering high-quality, skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and medical social services throughout the Northern Nevada community, supporting patient recovery, independence, and quality of life. Sierra Nevada Home Health takes pride in being a part of the community they serve and are committed to enhancing the lives of their patients through compassionate, expert care.
Their commitment to caring for others extends beyond the homes of their clients and into the hearts of families staying at the House. Their partnership helps us provide comfort, stability, and support to families with children receiving critical medical care.
While their entire business model is rooted in compassion and care, the owners of Sierra Nevada Home Health, Johnathan and Noel Perryman, have a deeply personal reason for supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada. A few years ago, Johnathan underwent a life-saving kidney transplant, requiring him and Noel to relocate for several months of treatment and recovery. Grateful for the outcome, they both recall the emotional toll of being far from their teenage daughters and the unexpected costs and instability that came with navigating an unfamiliar city.
“I didn’t know we’d be gone for three full months, and it was hard without our daughters and our dog,” Johnathan shares. “We were thankful for support through texts and calls, but it would have meant so much to have our girls with us. Financially, though, it just wasn’t possible.”
Without knowing how long each phase of treatment would take, they often had to switch between hotels and Airbnb’s.
“You’re already under so much stress, and then you have to figure out where to stay, where to get groceries — everything is unfamiliar,” Noel recalls. She adds that access to healthy meals is one of the reasons she appreciates the Ronald McDonald House. “When you’re healing, you need real food. Having that available for the families is a blessing.”
The Perrymans’ experience gives them a deep understanding of what families at the House are going through. And their generous support helps ensure other families don’t have to face those same challenges alone.
Thank you, Sierra Nevada Home Health, for standing with us and helping to keep families close when it matters most.
