Sponsor Spotlight: Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

We’re sending a huge thank you to our friends at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for supporting our Travel for Treatment Program. Their partnership helps even more northern Nevada families get to vital health appointments without worrying about travel costs. Because when a child needs care, distance shouldn’t be the thing that stands in the way.

The Travel-for-Treatment Program covers gas, plane, or bus travel for youths under 21 and their caregivers, making sure families can reach the services they depend on. A tank of gas or a bus ticket might not seem like much, but for many families, it’s the difference between getting help or going without.

Anthem’s dedication to community health shows up in every corner of their work. They focus on improving whole-person care, which means supporting behavioral health, physical health, preventive care, and the social factors that affect families every day. They invest in programs that bring care closer to home, expand access in underserved communities, and strengthen the safety nets families rely on.

As they shared with us, “When families have access to the right care at the right time, entire communities grow stronger. We’re proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada in making that possible.”

Their commitment doesn’t stop there. Anthem also sponsors the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Renown Children’s Hospital, giving caregivers and siblings a peaceful place to rest, recharge, and stay close to their child during hospital stays. It’s one more way they help families feel supported when life gets overwhelming.

We’re grateful for Anthem’s partnership and their dedication to helping families stay strong. When local organizations come together, families get the support they deserve.

If your organization wants to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to team up. Together, we can keep families close when it matters most.
